World Boxing Championships 2025 - official Programme for the first Elite-level global championships hosted by World Boxing
4-14 September 2025
From 4–14 September, Liverpool will welcome more than 550 boxers from over 65 countries, competing across two daily sessions
The action begins Thursday 4 September, with the preliminaries in:
• Women’s: Light-flyweight (48kg), Flyweight (51kg), Middleweight (75kg)
• Men’s: Bantamweight (55kg), Welterweight (65kg), Light-middleweight (70kg)
Up to 11 English boxers could be in action on day one, including hometown hero Odel Kamara, alongside GB’s Paris 2024 Olympians Charley Davison, Chantelle Reid, and a strong Irish contingent led by Olympians Daina Moorehouse, Aoife O’Rourke, and Jack Marley.
The Championships feature:
• Two rings in action until the final three days, when the arena switches to a single-ring setup
• Quarter-finals on Wednesday 10 September, a massive day of 32 medal bouts
• Semi-finals & Finals from 12–14 September, where 20 new World Champions (10 men & 10 women) will be crowned
